In her new role, Ms. Pretty will be responsible for implementing major pension buyouts, buybacks and longevity insurance transactions in the UK, and will generally help systems achieve their risk mitigation objectives. Sagoo has extensive experience in longevity risk transfer and longevity swaps, gained during her time at Deutsche Bank, where she led the insurance and pension businesses. During her 15-year career, she has gained experience in the banking and insurance industry in areas such as asset allocation, risk reduction, longevity risk management and Solvency II. Previously, she held positions at AXA Sun Life and Goldman Sachs. During her career, she was a pension fund trustee for Abbey Life Pension Scheme and a corporate director for Legal & General Reinsurance Bermuda. Legal & General`s Pension Risk Transfer division has appointed Pretty Sagoo as Head of Strategic Activities. Pretty joined the Board on January 1, 2021 and is a member of the Subcommittee on Investment and Banking.
